Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer was born in the month of August, 1981. Her performances in the movies Cowboys & Aliens and The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great & Powerful and also in the tv series Angela's eyes Mad Men Hawthorne, and Suits are among her most recognizable works. She currently stars as Amantha Holden in the Sundance Channel Drama series Rectify. Abigail Leigh Spencer works as an actress in both television and films. She was known for her role on the drama series Rectify, as well as on the sci-fi show Timeless. She is a native of Gulf Breeze, Florida and began her acting career in the soap opera All My Children. For her work she received the Soap Opera Digest Award as Outstanding Female newcomer. Her main role was guest roles in a variety of TV shows over the next few years. The role she played as the Dr. Erin Jameson on the television series Hawthorne was praised by the audience. Her stunning looks and acting talent her character slowly garnered the attention of a huge following. Her debut film came at about twenty when she was in Campfire Stones. Other films she has appeared in are Jekyll This Means War and Chasing Mavericks. The actress was nominated for the Madrid International Film Festival Award' for her role in the movie Beautiful Now'. Her most recent appearance on television is the lead role of history professor Lucy Preston in the sci-fi TV show Timeless. It has been well-received by critics and Spencer's role has earned her a nomination to the Teen Choice Award.
