Alison Doody
Alison Doody is an Irish actress and model. She was born on November 11, 1966. After making her feature film debut with a tiny part in Bond film A View to a Kill (1985) she was later cast to play anti-Nazi archaeologist Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). Siobhan Donevan as A Prayer for the Dying (1997), Charlotte Taffin (1988) and Rebecca Flannery Major League II (1994) are other roles. Doody was invited by a photographer, who asked her to perform the role of a model. She then developed a career of commercial modelling. Doody was determined to steer clear of glamorous and sexy roles, that was a rule she incorporated into her acting. She accepted a small role in the film Jenny Flex for 1985's A View to a Kill following the fact that she was noticed by the director of casting.
